Rwanda offer’s unique wildlife experiences, particularly in gorilla trekking. The optimal times to visit these countries for such activities are influenced by their distinct seasonal patterns::

June to September and December to February: These months are ideal for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. The trails are less muddy, and the likelihood of successful gorilla encounters is increased. It’s important to note that these periods are also peak tourist seasons, so booking permits well in advance is advisable.

March to May and October to November: Although trekking conditions can be more demanding due to rainfall and muddy paths, the forests are lush and teeming with diverse flora. Additionally, these off-peak times offer a more tranquil experience with fewer visitors. ​
