The game drives with Tim my guide were always full of interest and surprises. He always seemed to know where to find the big cats, elephants and plains game. He was an excellent guide always careful about his clients’ safety, knowledgeable about animal behavior, the flora, good bird knowledge and always had interesting stories to tell about his experiences in the bush and anecdotal stories. He always found the right position for a best photographic opportunity. His ability to spot game at great distance or camouflaged in the trees and bushes was amazing. He had binocular eyes! Tim is an amazing birder. Two highlights with Tim – the sighting of the rare Black-Headed Gonolek Bird (thanks Tim) and a night drive when we spent about 40 minutes with an Aardvark (thanks again Tim). Both these sightings were amazing because so rare.
